My daughters (9 and 10 years old) loved everything about this book such as the excellent illustrations, easy-to-follow narration, and colorful characters like Biz the briefcase. What an awesome book! I bought one for my household and one for a friend! Mikey's blue print of becoming a business owner is clear and I plan to follow his lead. Every child especially black children should have this book in their library as it displays inspiration, positivity, growth, support and achievements! Way to go Mikey!
A great book to encourage and inspire your child to be their own boss. The book details the steps to becoming an entrepreneur on your own terms. Adults can learn a lot from Mikey! The family photos at the end of the book were a wholesome touch. Best of luck to Mikey and his business!
I like the what the book teaches and how they use the briefcase, but the book is very short and not as engagiging as I would have liked. My son is 9 years old so maybe the book is better suited for younger readers, and it is a bit pricey for how short it is.
